Obviously quite a few dollars. The same way Sony crippled the electronic market for so many years by making us see their name and think they were the greatest all around (not as true as it once was), Apple has started a very similar trend. We all know about the Imarket (Ipod, Iphone, Itouch, Itvand so on and so forth). We are willing to pay the extra money for these mp3 players that are coined Ipods they have made us forget that Creative and Sandisk even exist, let alone RCA/Philip who set the ball rolling back in 1994. These companies have had mp3 players for years before Apple thought up the name Ipod. The name actually belonged to someone and they just waited until the trademark patent on it ran out. I have no real issues with Apple. I love their computers, operating systems, and even the Itouch but why oh why offer your mp3 players at such a more expensive price and give so much less. Don't say because it's an Ipod. I like to listen to FM radio. You don't offer it. Sansa does. You don't offer the option to expand outside of my 4gb memory. Sansa allows an additional 16gb (with a micro SD card) on top of the 4gb that comes with their unit (not all but most current models). Apple if you want us to love you more give us more. You Ipod us from 2001 until now, we have said very little but give us break. If not for us then for our Idollars, Ibills, Irent, and our Ifamilies. Love you Apple. Appreciate Sansa and Sandisk a little more though. Same mp3 player at half the cost with almost double the features and functionality. I do acknowledge that up until you hit the market with your Ipod mp3 player your Itune and I store sells have skyrocketed enough to receive private music labels to offer you exclusivety to their talent. Oh and for pushing the bar with design for mp3 players and your touch flo technology (current in all Iphones and a handful of other touchscreen phones and devices). See it wasn't all that bad now was it?
