Earlier this year, the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) was cracking down on habitual offenders who were downloading 5,000-6,000 songs a month along with raising their fines to $1.5 million for a CD of tunes. Now the RIAA puts the responsibility on the ISP (Internet Service Provider) to police their customers in regards to illegal music downloading. Now your ISP can do one of three things: limit your internet access, shut down/drop you from their service, or take you to court. So now instead of the RIAA getting at you about it, your ISP will be taking action at you so all you Limewire, Aires users beware.
