HTC introduces the Hero on the heels of the MyTouch 3G. This Android1.5-powered device looks very nice. Along with Android, it has a HTC Sense widget-based interface(think the Fuze/Touch Pro’s Touch FLO working with Windows Mobile)that puts at-a-glance info right up front on the home screen where it belongs. The Hero is 3G enabled packing a 528MHz processor, 3.2 inch touchscreen w/320 x 480 resolution, trackball w/enter button, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack (finally!), 5MP camera w/autofocus & video capture, and Bluetooth 2.0. The Hero has dedicated Facebook, Flick, YouTube, & Twitter apps as well as a 7 hour talk time battery life. Did I mention it supports Flash as well? Yup. This device is truly the truth. The Hero is slated for a July release in Europe for T-Mobile UK & Orange, Asia in the late summer, and here in the states hopefully b4 the year is out.
