Barnes & Nobles unleashed their e-Book reader dubbed the Nook (yeah, why not). The Nook weighs in around 11.2 ounces with a 3.5 inch color touchscreen that uses E-Ink. It has built-in Wi-Fi and uses AT&T’s 3G for downloading eBooks & audiobooks. The Nook has 2GB of memory (1500 eBooks) which is expandable up to 16GB via MicroSD (that’s 17,500 eBooks total), battery life up to 10 days w/wireless off, and acts as a MP3 player with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Along with features previously mentioned, it has a built-in dictionary, allows you to makes notes of the page, highlight passages, and can transfer your eBook to your iPhone or Blackberry via eReader software. You can pre-order your Nook now for $259 and expect to be released on November 30th.
