Although the Dell Streak for AT&T shipped running Android 1.6, Dell seems to be fast at work to give the people what they want. Those in the US who picked up a Streak for AT&T won’t have to worry about waiting for the 2.1 update only to wait some more for 2.2. Dell plans to boost its first Android-powered tablet/phone straight to Android 2.2 so its users can enjoy the faster, more functional features Froyo has to offer any Android device.
