Verizon announced an app that allows their FiOS customers with an iPad to watch FiOS programming from their Mac tablet.  The catch is that you  have to be in the same house as their Verizon home service is connected to in order to stream TV to your iPad.   This iPad app will become available early next year to FiOS customers.

Along with that Verizon FiOS will also offer access to their video-on-demand service via mobile app.   This app will allow FiOS customers to buy and rent videos and can be watched on up to five PCs and mobile devices with a 70GB starting storage cap.   The VOD app will become available sometime in the fourth quarter for the Droid X, Droid 2, BlackBerry Storm, and Windows Mobile 6.5 devices.    Verizon plans to cover the US with everything Big Red as they plan to take over the cable & mobile industry.
