Virgin Mobile has recently announced the carrier’s first Android device on their roster.  The Samsung Intercept is more-or-less the update to the Samsung Moment.   The Intercept is armed with an 800MHz processor, running Android 2.1, 3.2inch touchscreen w/ slide out QWERTY keyboard, and a 3.2MP camera.   Interested buyers can pick up the Intercept for Virgin Mobile at your local Target retailers right now and will be available in other retailers by mid-October.  $249 is quite a steal when there’s no contracts involved.  Now imagine if the next Android device Virgin picks up is the EVO, they would definitely pick up a slew of new customers.   Check out the link below for the official release.
