For all of those out there with a Dell Streak or waiting to get a Dell Streak, it is a great time for you guys. Dell has begun rolling out the Android 2.2 update via OTA for current Streak owners and anyone purchasing a Streak through Dell, can pick one up unlocked with Froyo already on it. Dell is offering their Android-powered tablet/phone in Carbon Black and Cherry Red colors with pricing ranging from 16 or 32GB storage from $549.99 to $678.99. Meanwhile current owners can now enjoy Flash support within the web browser along with faster rendering and overall browser performance, 720p video recording capability, Google backup, USB tethering, Wi-Fi hotspot ability, and Dell’s Stage UI running on top of Froyo.
