PlayOn announced yesterday that their service is now out of beta and available for Android devices running OS 2.2 or higher.   PlayOn offers streaming of Netflix (finally!), Hulu, ESPN 3, Fox, Comedy Central, Spike,  CNN, PBS, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Nickelodeon, NFL Rewind, MLB, MTV and more to your Android device.   PlayOn also offers its services to your iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or TV and works over Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G.   PlayOn can be demoed for free for two weeks, services normally cost you $39.99 for the first year ($19.99 for each additional year) and $79.99 for a lifetime subscription.    One step closer to cutting cable service at home when you can access everything on you mobile device and at home.  You can download it in the Android Market or iTunes App Store.   The video demo along with the official release is below after the break.

PlayOn Premium customers with Android 2.2+ need just to download the PlayOn Mobile app from the Android Marketplace and initially pair the device over the local Wi-Fi network with the PlayOn media server. The device may then be used to stream online video and personal media content over 3G or Wi-Fi anywhere in the world where you can get a signal. In addition to Android, PlayOn also currently features mobile support for iOS devices including the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
