According to the tipsters at Droid-Life, Verizon’s May Android release schedule may have been altered from its originally scheduled program.   The three smartphones that were due out this month are the Motorola DroidX2, LG Revolution, and the SonyEricsson XPERIA Play.   The new release date now looks like the DroidX2 (VZW’s first phone w/ dual-core processor), LG Revolution (VZW’s 3rd 4g LTE device), and the HTC Trophy (VZW’s first WP7 device)  are all due out on May12th which is next week.  And finally on May 26th, the once dubbed PlayStation Phone now the XPERIA Play may hit the stage for Verizon.  If these new dates play out, we should be bombarded with plenty of announcements next week so keep it here to see how it plays out.
