Yesterday, Netflix announced some changes to their service plans and monthly pricing.   Did they slash prices to make everything cheaper? Nope. Quite the opposite.  Now the DVD-Only option (one DVD at-a-time) will cost you $7.99 and $11.99 for two DVDs at-a-time w/ no streaming.   While the Unlimited Streaming Only plan w/ no DVDs will cost you $7.99.  So now to have Unlimited Streaming and one DVD plans will cost you $15.98 monthly ($7.98 + $7.98).   Definitely sucks.   For new subscribers, the new pricing & plans take effect immediately while current subscribers won’t feel the pain until September 1st.   Anyone hoping their selection of streaming titles to get much better, don’t.
