This morning Sprint held its Strategy Update meeting to talk just about that, the carrier’s future strategies to advance within the market.  Sprint announced that next year, they will go live with their 4G LTE network sometime in the middle of next year as they expect to have most of their LTE network to cover 260 markets by the end of 2013.    Originally, Sprint presented a 3 to 5 year plan to turn their next from WiMAX to LTE but they are looking to step it up.   Sprint will continue to sell WiMAX devices throughout next year as well as offer 12 to 15 LTE devices to kick things off.  And with the number 3 carrier now offering the iPhone 4/4S, they are definitely looking to step their game up to be more of a challenge to its competitors.
