Earlier this afternoon, Google held an announcement which removed the Beta tag from their Google Music app.    The Google Music offers a cloud-based music service that is free for those in the U.S.   Originally a Beta app which only allowed for invite-only but now is open to all.   The app allows users up to 20,000 songs from their own library as it can sync your iTunes, Zune, or Windows Media libraries.   After striking deals with Universal, EMI, and Sony music, this gives users access to 8 million songs for you to purchase starting at $0.99.   More details below.

The music store offers music by genre, recommendations, artist hub for independent artists, YouTube and Google + integration to the app as well.   At the moment, T-Mobile is the only carrier that allows you to purchase music as more carrier will support in the near future.  The app is supported by all Android devices running Android 2.2 OS or higher.  Check out a demo video below.
