Other than cars that can drive themselves, Google has more futuristic ideas in the pipeline to bring to consumers.   Ideas such as Project Glass, which are smart glasses that allow you to access many Google services like Google + , Maps, Music, camera via voice commands & GPS location.   The specs allow you to view new notifications, view/respond to text messages along with taking photos by voice.

At the current time Google + is the focal point of communication between friends while suing other Google services with it.  While the glasses are in early testing phase, interested consumers can expect to cough from $250 – $600 for a pair.   No ETA on availability but those familiar with the product suggest late 2012 or maybe early 2013.  Check out the video below for a full demonstration.
