Bad news for Verizon subscribers, your new device will cost you more $$$. Starting on April 22nd, the carrier will introduce an $30 upgrade fee on all mobile devices which include 3G & 4G tablets as well. Prior to this, Verizon was the only carrier who did not supply the fee. AT&T and Sprint hits their subscribers with a $36 upgrade charge while T-Mobile requires a $18 charge. Chalk the new fee to going towards growing the carrier’s LTE network.
