Yesterday afternoon, Vizio unveiled their new line of high-end computers marking their entrance into the PC market.   Originally demoed off at CES in January, the company behind great HDTVs now offers your choice of notebook, thin + light ultrabook, or an all-in-one desktop running Windows.   Using the latest materials, processors, & graphics, Vizio has been prepping for this for over two years now.  Let’s delve into what these PCs have to offer:

Vizio Notebook

Built with lightweight but durable aluminum materials, Vizio’s Notebook offers quite an array of specs that are even are par with Apple’s latest next-gen Retina MacBook Pro.   Their laptop offers a 15.6inch 1080p HD display, powered by the latest Ivy Bridge Intel processor Core i3, using NVIDIA’s latest Kepler graphics chipset, 6 hour battery life, 4GB of RAM, and a 500GB HD for just the base model priced at $898.   The higher spec model will offer a quad-core 2.3GHz Core i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, a 1TB HD coupled w/ a 32GB of flash for a higher pricetag.  

Vizio Thin + Light Ultrabook

Vizio’s new ultrabooks is slated to compete with the MacBook Air and various other Windows ultrabook manufacturers.  Their new slim ultrabooks ships in an your choice of 14inch or 15.6inch 1080p HD display, powered by a Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD priced at $898.   The higher-end ultrabook ships with a 1.9GHz Core i7 and a 256GB SSD for more $$$.

Vizio All-In-One PC

Vizio made sure to include a high-end desktop in the mix of PCs.   Instead of making just a PC tower, they went for an all-in-one desktop combining what they already know in HDTV visuals.   Arriving in your choice of 24inch or 27inch 1080p HD display, up to 1TB of storage w/ 32GB SSD, choice of Core i3/i5/i7 processor, next-gen NVIDIA Kepler GPU, subwoofer offering 2.1 surround audio, and HDMI ports as well.   The base model of the Vizio desktop will start at $898 will more features costing you more $$$.
