The folks over at TheVerge was tipped off on some very interesting bit of news coming soon from Microsoft. The Redmond company is looking into launching a gaming tablet dubbed the Xbox Surface. The Xbox tablet would offer a 7inch LED display w/ 720p HD resolution, powered by a six-core 3.1GHz dual-IBM processors, running a custom version of Windows (not RT or 8 Pro), SD card support, 3 USB ports, support for up to 4 wireless controllers, and a 250GB HD. This Surface looks to launch around the same time as the new Xbox console which is slated to be unveiled sometime next year. The full spec sheet lies below.
