Last time we heard about the upcoming Chromebooks, there was talk of a high-resolution laptop already in the works.  Previously Google’s laptop OS was sold at a lower price point for those who always want to be online and educational computing.  Now according to sources familiar with the matter at the Wall Street Journal,  Google is hard at work on a touchscreen Chromebook due out later this year.  Previously Acer, HP, and Samsung manufactured Google’s laptops in the past.  It is unclear whether or not Google will craft their own although I have a feeling they will and become more of their own company.
