Last month we spoke on AT&T to roll out an update to their subscribers that would allow iOS users to use FaceTime on their HSPA+ & LTE networks by the middle of June.  And according to a report by Apple Insider, that time is now.  They received tips from readers in parts of New York, Maryland, Georgia, Louisiana, California, and Hawaii that they iPhones was just activated for FaceTime outside of Wi-Fi.

Since FaceTime just got the green light, I wonder if BBM VIdeo is now working on AT&T’s 4G networks as well.  Android users on AT&T will have to wait until the end of the year to gain cellular access for the Hangouts video chat.  We don’t have official word form AT&T but that could change sometime in the AM.  We’ll update you guys as more details come in.
