Just when we thought there was nothing else to learn about the Motorola X, we were sadly mistaken.  Taylor Wimberly of AndroidAndMe got the scoop of three new features along with some press shots.  Namely Moto Magic Glass, a zero-gap aluminum build, and enough LTE antennas to penetrate more than your average smartphone. Let’s get into more detail on each of them shall we?

The Moto Magic Glass is a single layer of Gorilla Glass that is molded and fused with a custom polymer to create a continuous surface that covers the entire front and edge of the device.  This along with a zero-gap build will make smooth all the way around.  Hopefully it’s not slippery.

Stronger, Faster, Smoother
Next up we have is the overall build.  With this being their new flagship as part of Google, I hope you didn’t expect to see Kevlar anywhere.  But they did, however, use a laminated aluminum as part of the device’s construction.  This gives the Moto X a lightweight but durable end result.

And lastly, we have radios up the wazoo.  A total of five to be exact.  Starting off with a pair of LTE MIMO Smart Antennas for 4G that penetrate better for enhanced reception and data performance.  Nice!  The others consist of a 2G/3G, Bluetooth, GPS, & Wi-Fi antennas.

After seeing everything the Moto X is offering I am truly impressed.  How everything works in real life is an entirely different story.  August 1st is the day for the big reveal.  Are you ready for it?
