Earlier today Google announced the return of web calls via Hangouts. The service will act as Gmail calling did w/ unlimited free calls to the US and Canada along with low international rates. You can actually incorporate Google+ Hangouts humorous effects too. Google Hangouts gets one step closer to replacing Google Voice as you will be able to mix voice & video calls. Good to see Google upholding their promise (not that they have lied ion the past) as many users are waiting for the Google Voice 2.0 through Hangouts. Expect the update to begin rolling out over the next couple of days.
