Among the new news from Sony, they also cut pricing on the PS Vita to a more attractive price point. Now you can pick up the Wi-Fi or 3G version of the Vita for only $199.99. Previously, the Wi-Fi model cost you $249.99 and the 3G model $299.99. Also, Sony adjusted the pricing of their Vita memory cards as well. You can get a 4GB card for $14.99 instead of $19.99, the 8GB is now $19.99 from $29.99, the 16GB is now $39.99 from $59.99, and the 32GB card is now $79.99 from $99.99.
This should have been the pricing at launch and they could have prevented Vitas sitting on shelves. Hopefully the new pricing can assist a boost in Vita sales.
