Coming alongside the new Xbox One console is a new subscription-based fitness plan called Xbox Fitness.  This new feature helps take the fitness power of the Kinect to the next level.  Thanks to the new Kinect’s new abilities to track your heart rate without an additional monitor, measure your transfer of weight, power used, as well as your balance and form.

Xbox is teaming up with some famous trainers to offer a new service to help get you fit at home.

Xbox Fitness brings you workouts form celebrity trainers like Julian Michaels, Tracy Anderson from the Metamorphosis workouts, Tony Horton of P90X fame, and Shaun T from the Insanity workouts.  Fitness members will have access to a library of their various/popular workouts that range form 10 to 60 minutes.

Xbox Fitness will be free for Xbox Live Gold members until December 2014.  You will have unlimited access to all of their videos until the aforementioned date.  I’m presuming there will be an additional charge added after that.  Xbox Fitness will, of course, be a Xbox One exclusive.

See a little bit of it in action within the demo video below.
