While many consumers are prepping to get their hands on one of the new iPhones (5c + 5s), Walmart is looking to help out. The retailer just announced their sale pricing for both the 16GB models of the iPhone 5c and the 5s for AT&T, Sprint, & Verizon at launch. Walmart is also taking pre-orders for the 5c tomorrow as well on a first come, first serve basis and must be picked up by September 25th.
You can pick up the iPhone 5c for only $79 and the iPhone 5s for only $189. Let’s see if Apple, Best Buy and other retailers will honor price-matching for this at-launch savings.
Walmart is allowing current iPhone owners to trade-in for one of the new iPhones on contract. As well as the now-older devices like the iPhone 5 along w/ the iPhone 4S and 4. Consumers also have the option to buy the i4S/5 unlocked on their Straight Talk network powered by T-Mobile.
This bit of new will divert the crowds from the Apple Store now to your local Walmart. Of course, there will be limited quantities of the new iPhones in-stores of course.
