To continue the launch of Google’s new wave of Chromebooks, Acer refreshes their previous model w/ the new C270.  Continuing its pedigree of being fast, light, & portable, the new Google laptop offers new things to the mix.  Sorry guys, Acer doesn’t offer any color variations like the HP one.  Let’s dive into what’s new inside.

Powered by a new Intel Haswell Celeron processor, using the same 11.6inch display w/ 1366 x 768 resolution, 4GB of RAM, 16GB SSD, quoting an 8.5 battery life, VGA webcam, 1 USB 2.0 port + 1 USB 3.0 port, HDMI out, and a SD card slot.

The built-in goodies include 100GB of Google Drive for 2 years, 30-day free trial of Google Play Music All Access, and 12 free Gogo in-air Internet passes that you can use over 2 years.

Pre-orders for the C270 kicks off today on Amazon and Best Buy while the Google Play Store is quiet on the ordering matters.
