The new additions to the MacBook Pro w/ Retina Display happens to both the 13 and 15inch models so no one gets left behind.  Other than the Haswell chips, the new Retina MacBooks gets a slimmer & lightweight design as the 13inch model now weighs in at only 3.46lbs and is about 0.71 inches thick.
The 13inch now starts at $1,299 as it now offers a 2.4GHz dual-core i5 CPU, 4GB of RAM, faster Wi-Fi, 128GB SSD, and a 9-hour battery life.  The 15inch now starts at $1,999 as it offers a 2GHz quad-core i7 CPU w/ Intel Crystalwell Iris Pro graphics chip, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and an 8-hour battery life.
Now for the Mac Pro: their redesigned desktop powerhouse cylinder.  Offering a slew of configuration options like an Intel Xeon E5 (quad, 6, 8, or 12-core CPU), up to 64GB of RAM, AMD dual-workstation Fire Pro graphics chip, up to 1TB of flash storage, HDMI 1.4, and can support up to three 4K displays.
The new Mac Pro begins to ship in December and starts at $2,999 that offers a 3.7GHz quad-core Xeon CPU, 12GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and 2GB of video RAM,
So the only question i have is: which one are you buying?
