This morning, Sonos unveiled what they have been working since the Playbar.   Sonos wants to make access to wireless hi-fi audio more affordable.  Meet the Play:1 the smallest speaker released thus far.  Sonos’ goal is to offer big sound in a small package.

The latest from Sonos provides 2 D-class amps, one tweeter, and one mid-woofer.  Of course, like any other Sonos product, you can use the Play:1 w/ other Play speakers in your home as well as 5.1 home theater support w/ the Playbar.  You can also grab 2 of them to combine for a truer stereo sound in your home.

The Sonos Play:1 is now available wherever Sonos products are available for $199 and will launch globally on October 29th.  Now if we could only get Google Play Music All Access support.
