It seems as if not too long ago we were talking about the screen less LifeProof Case for the iPhone 5. Well we are now back talking about the Nuud Screenless Technology for the Samsung Galaxy S4. Does it meet the LifeProof standards? Let’s find out.
Drop Test/Shock Proof
When it came to the drop test I think I had a little too much fun. LifeProof states their case can survive drops of up to 6 feet. I put that to the test and then some. It was exciting!! Not just dropping or have the phone slide off the table but just people’s reaction when doing it in public. It can definitely withstand an accidental drop or fall. It has great sustainability and the materials used make it very shock absorbent. The materials are actual military grade and exceeds even their standards.
“The LifeProof case for the S4 is a necessity.”This was great because with other devices that are similar to the S4 you do not have full function over the screen. With the LifeProof Nuud case you can access your screen just as you normally would. The Touch sensitivity level doesn’t change either while under water. The case is recommended to safe guard your phone in up to 6 feet of water. I have not gone deep sea swimming with my case but a little submerge in the sink was pretty good for me. I enjoyed the ability to listen to music in the shower without worry of damaging my phone also. With the Nuud case you now have the ability to keep the party going even in the rain. (If that is your thing.)
Benefits of the dust/dirt proof is simple. Imagine being at the beach or at a park, your phone drops in the sand. The Nuud case keeps out every grain of sand and dirt. It is that good. I can see this replacing the need for more durable phones being made. LifeProof would of course have to expand their selection. Although more and more laborers are venturing towards these current devices that LifeProof is manufacturing cases for.
Design

I love the design of the screenless technology. I also appreciate the size and that there is no extreme bulk added to the phone. I have to say that when I took the case off it does make my phone feel smaller but it doesn’t feel like a brick or a phone from 5 years ago. The Nuud case is not without its flaws but the good out ways the bad. It does have one stand out issue which is an echo being heard by the person on the other end. Even the speakerphone sounds clearer on the user end but, it is the the other end of the call that hears an echo. No deal breaker since it has everything to do with the design to seal out the water and dust. Other than that, it is a winner in our book.
This is really a no brainer. The LifeProof case for the S4 is a necessity. Especially for those that are accident prone and need the added protection. It makes a great reason to listen to Spotify or Play Music in the shower or even in the tub. I would definitely recommend this case for anyone who has children. I have played out a few different real life scenarios and if any of these spark something in you, then buy the LifeProof case. Enjoy the video.
