Looks like Google is prepping to enter 2014 by those of us who wear glasses to enjoy Google Glass without compromise.  While everyone thought Warby Parker would be behind the Google Glass prescription lenses, we may have all been completely wrong.  The team behind Rochester Optical recently sent out a questionnaire to Glass users who want to update to Prescription Glass.

The questionnaire goes into to ask which color frames would users want to sport:  Shale, Tangerine, Charcoal, Cotton, Sky, Green, Yellow, Pink or Purple.  Other than your choice of color, Rochester looks to offer three different types of frames styles w/ Basic Plastic, Impact Resistant, or High Index/Thin + Light.   There was also an option to try out lenses made of glass as well.
And finally, you have the option to customize your prescription lenses for Glass w/ tint, UV coating, Mirror coating, Transition, Polarized lenses for outdoor use, and Anti-reflective coating as your choices.

I’m sure within a few weeks we’ll hear more concrete details on what Google has planned for Prescription Glass and if other optometrists will be involved.
