Earlier today during Sony’s morning press event, they also unveiled what they’ve been working on w/ the Gaikai acquired, cloud-based technology.  Introducing PlayStation Now: their new cloud gaming service that will allow you to access your games via smartphones, tablets, consoles, Vitas, & HDTVs ( 2014 Sony BRAVIA TVs that is).

PS4 Owners: PS3 games will become available later this year – in the cloud.

Of course PS Now won’t be free.  It will be another subscription model for Sony alongside PlayStation Plus. You will have the option to rent specific games or go for the higher package that offers online multiplayer, trophies, & messages.  A closed, limited beta of the service will kick off later this month and have a full launch later this summer.
