Out of nowhere, Google unveiled their newest addition to their Play Edition smartphones: the Moto G.  While it was not the LG G2 as I would have liked to see.  The entry-level Motorola device will run stock Android 4.4 Kit Kat and run on AT&T or T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network.

With a price point starting at $179 for the 8GB model and $199 for the 16GB model, makes this is the cheapest smartphone in the Play Store.  The standard Moto G from Motorola already runs the latest in Android software and the pricing isn’t too far off.  Making this choice a matter of HSPA+ and UI preference.  Interested buyers or gifters can order thiers starting today.  Which one will you choose?
