Looks like more details have emerged on Amazon’s hardware for its set-top box.  After revealing what the gaming controller would look like there’s more to reveal.  According to the latest report from TechCrunch, the set-top box will actually be a stick or dongle instead.  It is said to be similar to that of the Google Chromecast.

Amazon is expected to offer along w/ all of the Prime benefits, OnLive-like streaming via the cloud.  Sources also say that the stick would support full PC games to possibly better compete w/ gaming consoles rather than just Android games.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that we could see an official announcement for it sometime next month.  Definitely a Chromecast-like experience w/ gaming makes for a more value for Amazon.

Now all they need is to find their version of House Of Cards for Prime video to make the cycle complete.
