We have more word or more confirmation on Apple’s new laptop scheduled to arrive later this year. According to a forum post in Weiphone, we will see more changes of this 12inch Retina MacBook Air on the inside rather than the outside. I am very interested in seeing what this will look like & cost.
The new MacBook will be fan-less, thinner + lighter, Retina display (of course), and a new design to the trackpad. Instead of the giant button, it will focus on tap gestures for clicking w/ possible tactile feedback. The 12inch Air is said to be as portable as the 11.6inch but as powerful as the 13.3inch model. Expect it to launch sometime during the 2nd or 3rd quarter of this year as it will be cheaper than many Apple laptops.
Also, expect Apple to update their 13inch & 15inch MacBook Pros w/ minor spec bumps sometime around the September timeframe.
