If you are one of the many Xbox One gamers (like me) who are coming from the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 and have an expensive Turtle Beach (or other brand) headset that you haven’t been able to use, your days of frustration are numbered. Until now, there weren’t any headset options for the Xbox One other than the standard one that comes in the box.

In conjunction with the release of Titanfall (midnight, Wednesday, March 11), Microsoft is making a headset adapter available for purchase this Friday, March 7, that will let you use your old headsets with the new console. New Turtle Beach headsets will also be available on Wednesday with Titanfall. The adapter to use your old headset will set you back an additional $30, while a new stereo headset will start at $100. There is an update available today to make everything work. Check your Xbox Ones for it. Both headset and adapter are available for pre-order on Game Stop’s website at the link below.
