No more NexusLast time we spoke about the Android Silver program, it was getting more merit than just being a run-of-the-mill rumor and turning into something actual and factual. According to new news from @Evleaks, we’ve seen the last Nexus smartphone with the Nexus 5 by LG. He says we won’t see one this year as Google has already began working and shifting focus to the Silver program.

According to his sources, the 1st Silver device is set to launch sometime in February of 2015. Looks like LG was already hard at work on the Nexus 6 as they may have turned it into their 1st Silver device running a new high-end, possibly 64-bit Qualcomm CPU too.

For those of you who don’t know, Google is looking to replace the Nexus program w/ their new Silver one. Android Silver is more or less a better execution of the Play Edition devices. High-end devices running the latest version of Android and properly marketed.

After creating quite the community w/ the Nexus program, who’s saddened by this news? Do you feel Google can effectively continue innovating w/ the Silver Program?

Let us know.
