imageIn accordance to acquisition day, there’s another big purchase speculated to occur very soon.  According to a report by Variety, video giant YouTube is about to close a deal to buy Twitch for $1 billion.  Supposed to be an all-cash offer would add another community to YouTube’s already huge viewership.

For those of you unaware, Twitch is a huge video community mainly used by gamers to upload gameplay video clips.  It was started back in 2011 and is now one of the must-go stops for gamers.  Between PC gaming and the newly supported next-gen consoles, it is the place for gamers to display their clan/group matches, livestreams, and more.

We’ll see if this actually comes into play or not.
