This morning Apple announced an upgrade to their Retina MacBook Pro lone of laptops. Both their 13inch + 15inch models got a boost in specs. There are now 3 13inch + 2 15inch models to choose/configure from.
The 13inch Retina now ships w/ a 2.6GHz dual-core i5 CPUs and a 2.8GHz CPU within the maxed out model. All now have 8GB of RAM too. While the 15inch models now sports a 2.2GHz quad-core i7 CPU and a 2.5GHz CPU for the higher model. Its RAM has been boosted from 8GB to 16GB. The highest trim of the 15inch Retina model got a $100 price cut down to $2,499.
Also, the non-Retina 13inch MacBook Pro got a $100 price cut as well now down to $1,099. All are shipping within 24 hours or mozy on down to your local Apple Store to pick one up.
