photoshop chromebook
Being a cloud-based laptop pits many limitations to Chrome OS. Looks like one of the bigger pet peeves that the Chromebook lacked is getting an official solution. Adobe and Google has teamed up to bring their Creative Cloud services to Chrome OS. Kicking things off is a streaming version of Photoshop.

Photoshop for Chrome OS will only be available for Adobe’s education customers w/ a paid Creative Cloud membership. It will integrate w/ your Google Drive for managing files as Windows users will be able to access Photoshop via the Chrome web browser. For those of you who want in ASAP, you’ll need to apply for access to the beta here.

I can imagine there will be some limitations of sorts in comparison to the full version of Photoshop on a PC or Mac. But this is big news for Chromebooks and those within the education market who utilizes them.
