Another report from Apple’s upcoming event is that iOS 8 will support an upcoming mobile payment system – possibly working w/ NFC + Touch ID. This would be crafted to go head-to-head against the likes of Google Wallet, ISIS, PayPal, etc. They made sure to partner w/ the best in order to make this happen.
If this comes into fruition alongside NFC, Apple will really make strides within the mobile payment game.
We’re talking American Express, MasterCard, & Visa all on-board w/ their new payment system. Agreements is said to have already been made for all 3 credit card merchants to support it. We’ll see on Sept. 9th how all of this will play out.
