The folks over at G-Shock have been notorious for pushing the boundaries of what a watch look like or how strong should one be for several decades. Last night, we were invited to a private unveiling of their latest in watch innovations w/ the GravityMaster. This is actually the 1st of its kind as it is powered by a hybrid GPS + radio wave signals that’s solar powered.

For starters, Casio teamed up w/ Sony to provide a super-small GPS antenna. Which picks up radio wave signals transmitted from 6 global stations and help keep the most accurate time where ever you are in the world. All of this is powered by solar cells + motors to make the GravityMaster keep on ticking.

No matter where you are in the world, you can adjust your time zone w/ just one touch of a button.

Sporting a resin frame, metal bezel w/ a diamond-like carbon coating, a carbon fiber band insert, metal buttons, and a sapphire crystal to keep you guys better protected. The usual tough G-Shock standard are in place as it can retain its durability.

The GravityMaster will be launch this month on G-Shock’s NYC Soho Store, jewelers, and departments stores for $950.
