iMac-family-2013-update
While the wait for Yosemite is dwindling down as it is set to launch sometime next month. The newest version of OS X is set to support high-resolution displays. Thus far only Apple’s laptops can take advantage of this but that is about to change.

They got word that they have a Retina iMac now in late testing as it maybe getting ready to launch. 9to5Mac found references in Yosemite to support displays w/ 6400 x 3600, 5760 x 3240, and 4096 x 2304. So we’re not sure what the exact resolution will be. Whatever the case, it will be a glorious display. So you can expect to see updates to iMovie and Final Cut Pro to support 4K editing.

Expect the Retina Mac to be priced more at a premium. So it will cost more than you’re average iMac of course.
