With the holidays rapidly approaching, Casio wanted to make sure you had some fresh options available for you to choose from. Arriving in December are 2 G-Shock series w/ the Black Gloss + 90’s Protector. Both are slightly different takes to previous G-Shock watches and are now offering a bit more.
Starting off w/ the 2 Black Gloss Series: the GWM5610BB-1 (digital face) + the AWGM510BB-1A (analog face). This sports a polished aesthetic w/ a glossy black band (henceforth the name) as it has multi-band 6 atomic timekeeping, tough solar powered, shock + water-resistant up to 200M), and a 1/100th second stopwatch. The digital one has a mute function, full auto EL backlight, and 4 daily alarms priced at $150. While the analog one has a full auto LED backlight and 5 daily alarms for $170.
Next up we have the 1990s-inspired 90’s Protector series. This one sports a square digital face that some of you may remember as it sports a face protector and comes in Black, Red, & Yellow. Priced at $200, the Protector is shock + water resistant (up to 200M), has an EL backlight, flash alert, and a 1/100th second stopwatch.
