Drones are becoming more and more of a thing these days. The most popular consumer drone company out there is DJI as their Phantom 2 Vision+ is the top-seller + top-rated one in the market to date. The company now has a new trick up its sleeve w/ the new Inspire 1. This drone was created to help get better beautiful footage + photos.
This is the best looking drone that we’ve seen equipped w/ a good-looking 4K camera.
The Inspire 1 has arms that are crafted of strong carbon fiber that lift up out of the camera’s sight after takeoff. It is armed w/ a camera sensor capable of taking 12MP photos that can do a single-shot, time-lapse + burst mode @3, 5,or 7fps. The folks over at DJI also made sure to provide it real-time 720p HD live streaming capabilities to go along w/ its 4K video recording. It is armed w/ great stabilization system to ensure smooth + stable footage in a variety of flight conditions. There’s also a mode for piloting this indoors as well.
The Inspire 1 works w/ either one or two transmitters that would allow one to control the flight path of the drone while the other can handle all of the camera duties. The Inspire 1 is due out sometime next month starting at $2,900 w/ 1 transmitter and $3,400 w/ 2 transmitters.
