Remember when we told you that Apple is looking to expand their trade-in program to all things Android?  Well as of today, it is officially happening and in effect.

Apple just made it a little bit easier for other to convert over.

So this means if you are an Android, BlackBerry or Windows Phone owner, you can trade in your old device to use a credit towards a new iPhone.  And no you cannot use trade-in credit towards the Apple Watch either so there goes trying to cut costs for that.  They will continue to use Brightstar to handle their trade-ins in hopes to make the process easier and hopefully boost iPhone sales.  Still would get more bang for your buck using eBay, Swappa, or even Craigslist.

The new expansion of the ReUse & Recycle trade-in program will be live for Apple Stores in the US, Canada, UK, Germany, France, and Italy.
