Nintendo NX
While E3 is only a few short weeks away, we’re already getting a bit of news in regards to Nintendo’s upcoming console: the NX.  According to Japanese newspaper Nikkei, their new console will be running Android.

The reason they may go the Android route is to attract more 3rd-party developers.  This would help Nintendo expand into other devices like smartphones, tablets and such.  Don’t expect this to be revealed at E3 this year as more details are slated for to arrive sometime next year.

We know that Nintendo is looking to bring their properties to smartphones and looking to make the NX connect w/ their other systems via membership service.  This means that they finally woke up and is looking to adapt to today’s standard to be considered more of a contender.  I, for one, am rooting for you guys.
