Looks like Vizio isn’t the only affordable 4K TV in town anymore.  This morning, Sharp announced their new 4K AQUOS lineup in NYC.  With sizes ranging from 43inch to 80inches, Sharp is ready to step into the 4K arena for battle for your attention and your dollars.   

Sharp is one of the few TV makers to run Android TV.

All devices utilize Sharp’s proprietary quad-core CPU and are Wi-Fi + Bluetooth-enabled Smart TVs.  Kicking things off is the more affordable UB lineup which arrives in a 43inch, 50inch, 55inch, and 65inch size, you get Sharp’s Revelation which upscales your content to UHD quality.  Also, you get AquoMotion which offers a 240Hz refresh rate on the 65inch UB model.

The higher-end UE and UH30 60,70, & 80inch models utilize Android TV while still having one-button touch access to Netflix.  Their UE30 lineup of 70 & 80inches utilizes their new Spectros technology where you can get 20% more vibrant colors than the competition and other Sharp TVs as well.  The 70inch UE30 is THX 4K-certified as well as offering up a touchpad remote along w/ their standard remote for easier navigation & voice search.  

Pricing starts at $599 for the 43inch and goes all the way up to $5,000 for the 80inch.
