H5 beta wk3
When you think of Halo, you think of the Master Chief, Cortana, split-screen multiplayer campaign, and more.  According to some new details that have emerged, one of the aforementioned things may not arrive on Halo 5.

According to the folks over at Ars Technica, split-screen co-op gaming  and supported LAN play looks like it will be MIA on Halo 5: Guardians.  Spotted on a pre-order screen for the game , they saw a 1-player per console & 2-24 players online.  Meaning split-screen co-op appears to have gone bye-bye.  You’ll still have the option for co-op campaign via online rather than locally.

In order to achieve gameplay fluidity of 60fps, some things had to chucked so other compromised wouldn’t have to be made.  This might be a huge deal breaker for Halo fans – at least the ones who still played it for the campaign.

Does this news change your plans to pre-order Halo 5?
