Remember Instagram Direct? I’m sure some of you do as ya’ll are sliding in folks DMs. But for everyone else who didn’t use it, the feature is getting an update that might interest you – or not. Let’s dive into the new specifics.
Instagram messaging got a lot better.
Previously you couldn’t do much w/ it but today, they remedied that issue. It has a new look as it is now threaded like normal messaging apps. With the new update you can now reply w/ a text, emoji, or via the heart icon on the right corner. You can now shae more photos as well as locations, hashtags, profiles, and add up to 15 people to a DM. Photos sent via Direct can only be sent by its recipients.
So it seems like they finally have a real messaging feature within Instagram finally. The update has already began rolling out to both Android and iOS. Are you gonna give it a shot?
