Microsoft kicked off this morning w/ a new promo to make getting a new Windows 10 PC a little bit easier. Introducing their Easy Trade Up program to help w/ the hardware upgrade process. The promo will run jere in the US, UK, Canada, India, Brazil, France, Germany, and Taiwan.
You buy a qualifying computer from the Microsoft Store for over $599 from now until October 20th and you’ll get a rebate after you send in your old one. Microsoft will give you a minimum of $200 for a Windows PC and $300 for a MacBook. Computers must be under 6 years old, in working condition, and a screen no smaller than 11.6inches.
While the intentions of this promo are good as they want more folks to use a Windows 10 PC. You can probably hit up other avenues like Craigslist, eBay, Gazelle, or others to get more $$$ for your computers. Microsoft might be low-balling here – especially w/ their MacBook quotes.
