When you think of Coleco, you think of the early gaming console ColecoVision. Well after 30 years of being out of the game (both literally & figuratively), the company is planning on a brand resurrection for 2016. Meet Coleco’s newest console: the Chameleon.
The return of game cartridges awaits us.
The Coleco Chameleon is a modern-day take on the classic console that will play compilations of your favorite games from the past along w/ new games in 8,16, & 32-bit styles. In case you want a bit more clarity on the what games, you’ll have to wait on that as no titles have been announced officially or unofficially.
They’ve teamed up w/ Retro Video Game Systems to bring this dream into a reality. The new Coleco Chameleon will be shown off in February at the 2016 Toy Fair in NYC.
